Council on Ministries
The Council on Ministries (COM) is to envision, plan, implement, and coordinates the mission and ministry’s strategic plans of the church. The directives are set forth by the Pastor and Board of Directors of Westphalia United Methodist Church (UMC).
Finance Ministry
The Finance Ministry is responsible for general oversight and ongoing operation management of the church’s finance. This ministry works with the Senior Pastor and the other ministries to ensure that the church is in good financial condition.
SPRC Ministry
The Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) is chartered to manage the human resource church’s operations. An effective committee builds a strong positive relationship between staff and congregation so that the congregation makes disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This committee will work with the Senior Pastor and other staff to fulfill legal and ethical responsibilities related to staff.
Worship Ministry
The Worship Ministry exist for the sole purpose of bringing honor to God through the spoken word, praise, worship, spiritual song, music, and liturgical dance. Is there anything more important than sharing the love of God with his people and bringing new saints to his kingdom? Worship unites us all at the heart of our souls. The Worship Ministry at Westphalia United Methodist Church works closely with the Pastor and all intricate parts of worship for creating effective and cohesive worship experiences. The ministry makes sure every worship service is properly staffed with personnel and materials.
